6 M2 ghia used flat washer nuts Vs conical seat nuts for the Mk3. Mk2 ghia wheels had a fancy paint job plus polished areas v's plain silver for the mk3, mk2 ghias had a different centre cap/centre cap hole, while the centre caps themselves were made from unobtanium.

Right just a little help Vernon, john mac and mj all got No2 correct, Vernon got No5 correct .

Vernon, please clarify with your first answer to number 3, were the ghia wheels you were referring to the same wheels as in question 6

I think vernon was close on 6 I think the main difference was all the surfaces on the spokes are flat on the mk2 and rounded on the mk3?

OK, been down the garage and compared it to a mk3 door.

4. Key slot is horizontal. Later locks the slot is vertical.
If that's right I'll be chuffed as nuts!!!
