Hi folks.

Just thought I'd let those who might be interested know that I've entered WGW into the Historics at Brooklands auction on Saturday May 18th, though in fact it will actually be held at the adjacent Mercedes Benz World HQ on this occasion.

There will be plenty of photo's and a description on their website imminently, but after their photographer visited I've since had chance to properly clean and polish the car, and it looks amazing, so I thought I'd share a couple of my own photo's on here.

If it sells, all well and good, but it won't worry me if I end up keeping it a while longer and attending Capri 50 with it, as it was so good to get behind the wheel again!

Hello Len. The car has passed to one Andy Read, who I believe is known to you. I will be keeping in touch with him, and it sounds as though WGW has gone to a good home. It's just a pity that my eleven years with it were punctuated by a whole catalogue of disasters at my end, most of which were completely unexpected and not easy to recover from. Cheers, Mike
