I’m guessing this is the one imported not that long ago, as mine in still in the garage. Mark

If this car is indeed PFC 700M Chassi Number BBECND 07339 it is definitely a re-shelled car it was reshelled using a Purple velvet GT, and the site selling it needs to be told before someone gets their fingers burnt. RScapriman

This sold at the Restoration Show in March 2016 and the auction house were notified of the re-shell and just said it was down to the prospective buyer to do their due diligence. I would argue that it's also the responsibility of an auction house to validate the authenticity and originality of cars they sell to avoid accusations of misrepresentation.
Despite the re-shell issue, it is a very nice car.

Then it is PFC 700M and it IS a re-shelled car and worth considerable less than a genuine car, that said it is a re-shelled car not a replica as many are in other words as the title suggests it actually uses most if not all of the parts from the original car unlike others that are simply an ID and a load of parts. This car did not actually sell in 2016 as the would be buyer got his money back having found out it's history. RScapriman
