Hi all as I am sure you will all be aware the vented disc's for the RS2600 facelift / RS3100 are all but impossible to find and once beyond machining render the original RS strut pretty useless unless I guess you use the standard 3 litre hub solid disc and caliper( never tried this so would need to be checked). You could obviously use the 2.8i complete front strut with lowered spring to achieve the original ride height but you cannot use the dust shields, however I have made contact with a gentleman that has made an adapter so that a 2.8i vented disc can be used with the RS hub and with the later vented disc being readily available and cheap once in place it and painted it would be almost un-noticable I believe these adapters are 200 euros a pair inc postage. He is also making adapters to upgrade a standard 3 litre set up to take the 2.8i disc's for the same price, If anyone is interested please contact me and I will happily pass his contact details on. RScapriman.

Hi all, I’m sure this has been brought up before but is it possible to get the original discs remade? Or would this be far too expensive?

I think this has been looked at, but I believe the issue has always been cost and/or minimum order quantities. If they were re-made, what would be the opportunity? Assuming 100 cars on the road and we all bought two pairs, that would be 400 discs. The xpack cars did use the same leg/disc set up, so there could be more, but still not a whole load. Having said that, you never know!
