Hi Folks!... desperately looking for a good quality 3100 carpet. Can anyone point me in the right direction or share their experiences? Australia seems to be the place to go!!! or does anyone have one lying about?  thanks - Graeme. |

Hi buddy, you may be correct in saying that the Australian ones are the way to go, however they are I believe a 2 piece item as per the pre facelift cars.

I have an Australian carpet and as Len say, they are a two piece carpet, so while it would be nice to have a one piece item, the two piece one seems to be the best compromise. The carpets you can get in the UK are crap, to be blunt. The material they use is more like a heavy duty felt. The Australian carpets are actually a looped carpet as per the original and look the part. They don't come with holes, so you'll need to cut those out. I should really fit mine soon, so I should let people here know how I get on.
