Seeing as Photobucket are charging quire a lot to host pictures these days, I've switched to flickr...so lets see if this works: These are the aftermarket slicone heater hoses..Samco classic....not sure if they will stay, as the carb to heater hose doesn't match the original at all... and look, we have a dash! a bit long, but easily cut down.. but once in place, OK.... We also have a radiator, which I've had triple cored... and also picked this up, as this oily mess has been ignored for too long a few issues... Coil connections...original at the top, but will be replaced with parts from another loom...bottom... thats all so far...lets see if this post works!

Thanks Len. Looks like some photo's didn't come out, so obviously need to do some tweaking! Exhaust on order and radiator properly painted.....a vey Matt finish from the recoring which I didn't like. A couple of further repairs on the loom and I'll be wrapping it again....more updates tomorrow!

Nice one Vernon, is Flick R easy to use? I did not realise photobucket charged now although I have not used it for some considerable time.

Well, you have to have a yahoo account...or create one....but a bit confusing at this point....I looged in and the pictures I uploaded yesterday...well, I can't see them...yet they still show here, so they must be there somewhere! I'v created an album and then uploaded images...then moved them to this album and tey seem to still be there...so the jury is out....plus the images come out a bit small on here...which is strange as well. I'll expirment a little more with this.
OK, creating an album is all fine and dandy, but you can't share the links to a board like this....so it may well I have to upload again and not put them in an album and then share....but once I do that, they are gone as they are not in an album....hmmm
I'll play some more, but maybe flickr is not the solution...

OK, so purchased the exhaust from Predator styling. They even give you stainless steel hangers. Only one issue was the rear hanger on mine... I carefully cut the hanger from the bracket and re positioned it... I then sent it back to Predator styling and they re-welded it for me and viola! very happy with the fit! Meanwhile, in the reconditioned radiator department, I appear to have picked up a Mk1 RS2000 radiator by mistake. Compounding this mistake, I had it re-cored! so if anyone wants a triple cored RS2000 rad, let me know! equally, if anyone has a Mk1 capri 3.0 radiator with an undented header tank they would like to sell...let me know!

Hi Len...Flickr seemed to be causing issues.......it wouldn’t bloody work! Now using imgur.....seems to be easier with the added bonus of it working! Seem to be getting time now.....so finished wiring loom repairs last week.....taping the loom up today...well’ thats The plan!
Now the radiator is causing an issue. Now, I do have an excuse for this next gaff. Gareth. I’m not sure how, but I’m sure I can blame him somehow. I had two radiators in my garage, both looking fairly similar.....one, tbl’s original....as far as I know.....one from what I believe to be from a mk1RS2000. They have different mountings. Care to guess which one I got recored?
Tbl’s had a dent in the expansion tank. The ‘imposter’ did not. In an effort to make my car as close to Gareth’s as possible ( you can see where I’m going here) I got the imposter recored, Gareth’s fault, endof.
So, looking for a good radiator to recore, or I may well have to bite the bullet and get the original recored....depending what I can find!

I went into the garage the other day and would you believe there is a part finished RS3100 in there!
So after getting all the dash in, glove box, under trays etc I started cutting the new 2 piece carpet to allow for the handbrake and various brackets to go on. (By the way I hear new molded 1 piece carpets will be available this year from Roy Nunn (fairly sure that's his name). Just as I was admiring my handy work and about to fit the hand brake, I realised, 1. no bolts and 2. no handbrake switch. I found the switch, but then no brown wire to connect it to! Check back to my pictures I took and lo and behold it was there, but I know that something was a bit strange, as it seemed to transition to a green wire. So after a quick message to Stuart at Restora a ford, found that the connector for this is near the fuse box connection right under the drivers side dash area. So, I'll be making up a new wire tonight...followed by putting the instruments, under dash and glove box back in, after removing it all to try and find out WTF the wire or connection was!
