well, I'm going to have to find another image hosting site, as photobucket seems a bit screwed up...any suggestions?
So far all glass in, chrome trim mostly done and new fake vents on. Dash in and looking very nice! Finally decided to get to the pile of wire in the corner that I pulled from TBL's engine bay. Oh dear, not a pretty site. It's ben seriously cut about by the coil and I wqas asking gareth just this very day about the external ballast resistor. My early mk2 look has the ballast resistor integrated into the main look, wheras the Mk1 appears to have this seperatly in the form of a grey wired with bullet connections either end. From what Gareth has said, it looks like this is correct. I need to cut the coil and distributor connections from my Mk2 loom and I should then be done bar one earth connection which has been cut at some point. Does anyonehave a picture of how the indicators at the front are earthed, as I suspect the cut wire is for these, but I can't be sure. On the other side of the car is a flag terminal for earth...but I'm damned if I can remember where this goes!
