Greetings, I've got a sad story to tell, but hopefully it will end well. I came into possession of a '73 RS3100 Capri over here in the States. With the help of this site I was able to ID it with the tags on the inner fender. The sad part is the car was completely cut up to be used in a budget racing series over here. Original Essex V6 is gone, replaced with a 5.0 V8. Interior is gutted. There are a few bits left in tact including the duck lip spoiler, monoleafs, and rear diff. I originally got the car no knowing what it was, just wanting to do some road racing in the budget racing series. I previously ran a '74 Capri in the same series and it was a ton of fun. But with such a rare item I'd like to get it to someone who will restore it, or get it as close as possible back to original condition, and purchase another less valuable Capri to race. Any thoughts on a fare value on a roller RS3100 shell? See pics below, and I appreciate all and any feedback from this community. Feel free to email me offline too at billyballer@gmail.com cheers, Bill in California
