Hi all, I have been in contact with a gentleman in France who is selling his 1972 RS2600, it is a June 1972 built car which means even though a pre facelift it was built at Saarloius so features the later "C" type injecton pump, These cars are relatively rare being built from May 1972 to August 1972 inc. This particular car is with it's second owner from new has just 65,000kms on the clock and the only bodywork done was one new front wing fitted in the 70's, It truly is a stunning car that features something that I have never heard of a 2800 engine which it left Saarloius with these are ultra rare and apparantly even though the engine could be bought as an RS part only 4 cars left the factory with them fitted. The price is £35,500 which I personally believe is a bargain lets face it where are you going to find another and in what I believe along with Le Mans Green/Black is the best colour combo for a pre facelift RS2600. Yeah right. I told Sue that I'd been offered a 1958 Morris Minor at a good price for Gemma to learn to drive in.  For some reason I don't think I'll be doing much on my car this weekend  |
