Hi all, despite awful weather our spirits were not dampened, great show of cars many thanks to all that made the effort, members choice went to Michael Webster with his fabulous RS2600 it was great to see it. This year seen a lot of pressure on Ian Hall with his cracking Sebring Red RS3100 XYX 429N he was my driver for the parade lap, you may remember last year was the only year that I had not taken part in this as I was let down by a Diamond White car!!!!! no such problems this year XYX was like a ray of sunshine on that damp track never missed a beat Cheers Ian.

Hope you made sure he was using his parking sensors after the parade.
Is Darrin still custodian of the dice?

Bad news on the parking sensors they have been thrown away!!! I feel a forfeit coming on. The custodian of these really needs Sat Nav not parking sensors as he could not even find his bedroom on Sat night. The Dice are officially out of darin's care "for a year anyhow" they have found a new home in UUB 469M so please keep an eye out at any event this car turns up at as failure to display these desirable items will incur a penalty as darin found out. It is only fair that I discretely explain how the current custodian managed to win this much acclaimed prize, our old friend from North Wales Mr Parry managed despite the apaulling weather to make the trip all the way from North Wales to miserable Wiltshire on friday night then negotiate a packed car park at the Bell House Hotel with his Range Rover and trailor with RS3100 on back " this in itself was no mean feat". On saturday morning Ange decided to give John a call to remind him not to forget his pass as he may be sent to the public car park, John's reply was that was the least of his worries as he had left the Capri's keys at home !!!!!!!!!!!!!!11 Now that has to be a good reason to look after said dice for a year.

Ian might have been trying to find a better room for the night! While you and Ange were off doing yourself up for the evenings do, Ian and one Mr Parry were discussing with the landlady if there was a need for an additional bed in Mr Parry's room for Ian or if they could make do with just the one One can only assum that Ian was avoiding having to go to his room because he disagreed with the outcome of the discussions with the land lady or him and Mr Parry had a bit of a tiff over dinner? There was definitly something going on between them before the time I departed and the meal started! At least this year if any of the beds or rooms got damaged there were a bunch of sailors to blame it on. Did any of you start singing sea shantys at them?

Or maybe Ian was just playing hard to get. What you are not aware of that cunningly My Parry told Ian the wrong room number then peeped through the gap in the door as Ian strolled up and down the corridor knocking on doors in the early hours !!!!!!!!!! Most of the sailors invited him in so he did not get to his room until very late !!!!
