I see the place on E-bay is selling re-production bootlid trims....anybody know if they are any good?...I removed mine to get some paintwork done and no matter how careful I was im pretty sure I could have done a neater job with an axe.....do they wrap round the bottom of the leading edge or are they a stick on the surface thing?
cheers Guys!!!

hi jamie i think the ones on ebay is motobil as i looked at them the other week ive bought one from motomobil about 2 months ago and i thought they were very close when put next to an original one but the finish is very soft and scratch very easy ....... ive spent about £400 buying them off ebay and travelled up and down the country for them none of which have been good enough regards john

I have seen the ones made in Australia and have to say the profile is very good, the chances of finding a genuine one are very slim and have been for many many years. Len

I have a set of NOS and the aussie repro's and looking at them on side by side you cannot tell the difference. the side profile is near enough to perfect. the only difference i have found is the back where the clips sit in it. I can post photos if you like. cheers Owen
