Im upset Vern wont be taking the RS31 to Combe. the other thing i cant get my head around is you Poms not being able to drive your car through the winter months. we are in the cold season, but its 22 degresss here in Australia, and we take them out all year round... I even went for a swim today. Its still short and t-shirt weather here.. Cheers O

I'm planning on being there with my mk 2 in the show and shine section....assuming they let me in! I've applied and paid, but not sure if that's it, I'm in, or if they decide on some criteria...not sure!
Owen, we have 22 degrees here in the winter. Just not outside!

Vernon, are you going to use on the Mk2 in the show n shine the same quality dust that you used to good effect at AVO National day to take best car?
Do you think the drive to Hatton Park this year will cover my car in enough dust or do I need to buy the pucker stuff from you?

Gareth, I'm not after any trophies....bugger, that reminds me, I have to pick up the AVO base that I was having engraved. Thought I'd better get round to it!...it's probably over due by a week or so! oops! Now, I'd say that you don't live far enough from hatton to build up that show winning layer of dust. Ideally, as Phil has shown, you need to leave a fine layer of dust on your car from last year, so your preparations should have actually started when you left the AVO show last year. You may have a real task on your hands to get the dust on and matured in time..tut tut...you really arent taking this seriously enough......BUT I can sell you some spray on patented show winning dust, pre aged to perfection. One application will last all season and I can actually give a guarantee that you will beat my car this year at any show you care to attend. I'm that confident in this ground breaking product!
This is just one product in the car care show preparation range that I've developed:
Show detailing dust Adds that show winning 'I definately didn't trailer it' look to your car
Show easy-fly packet of 10 dried flies with self adhesive pads that you can apply to your car, showing that not only did you drive it to the show, you drove it like a man. These come in three sizes, S, M and to simulate those really big yellow hits on your widscreen, L.
Show brake dust Why stamp on your brakes to give that dulled silvery finish to your wheels when you can use this? (includes tyre sheild).
Show stone chip flakes Flakes of REAL primer (state grey or yellow when ordering) that allow you to simulate stone chips along the leading edge of your bonnet, front valance and spoiler, although of course you can use them anywheere to give that 'I drove it hard' look.
Just let me know what you need!

Dust, I cant believe you let dust settle on it.Drive it that way you dont have to charge the battery.. Mine's cleaned when it leaves the shed and when it returns. But then again, dust might show up more on the lesser colours like white.............. Cheers O

It shows up on Kermit Green and Burnt Orange best as those are the cars that have won the most with this special detailing package Vernon has been perfecting.
I think if your car is undergoing a resto by Hatton, you shoul register and just bring a few panels to show willing ;D
