I have been having a debate about the windscreen wiper on a RS capri, with a mate of mine. He owns several AVO mk1 escorts, and they were fitted with little stainless steel wind deflectors on the wipers. where the RS31's fitted with these? In the latest concourse ford mag, the green RS31 has them fitted. Can somebody answer me? Thanks Owen

As far as I am aware the RS3100 had these fitted to the drivers side and those with more money than sense have them on both wipers.
They sometimes come up for sale on e-bay going for over £250.

No I dont believe the RS3100's were not fitted with these from new, check out any ford press photos you'll not find one on there.

Thanks i havn't seen 1 fitted in the sales photo's. was it an option? or is it more of an owner mod. My mate said they were only fitted to the drivers side. Cheers Owen

Hi Owen, NO options on the RS3100 of any description any fitted would have been either at the dealers as a request or later by the owner.

Cheers Len. I dont know if i want to fit them yet. I know of 1 RS31 out here that was fitted witha lsd, but it was done by the dealer. cheers O
