Slowly getting things in place so that I can contemplate getting the RS restored. Part of this is considering purchasing a trailer to get the car to where bits of work will be carried out.
So far the cost of purchasing vs hiring a trailer are coming out about the same. If I buy the only trailer that appears to fit in my storage area is with a 4.4m (14ft) bed length, 1.76m (5ft 9inch) bed width.
As the Capri is nose heavy with the big V6 up front it will have to be pulled back slightly to keep the nose weight on the towing hitch correct which means the back of the car may overhang the trailer slightly.
For those of you that have already trailered your cars, how much of a problem would this be?
