Well, I'm maintaining this was a set up from the point that Phil could not make the show due to a pending interview (never knew they did interviews for paper rounds!). Len, I'll be talking to you about values on Saturday...I mean, a show winning car and all that! I now have a good theory about this show though....last year, Phil wins, didn't wash his car, this year, I didn't wash my car and win. Hmm, I can see a pattern here......Or does this just reflect badly on Gareths car washing skills?

My car wasn't washed either, that was how it came out of the carcoon. I suppose the only difference is I wash my car before it goeas away and not just when it rains!

I'm glad this forum is back up and running, I missed these debates, I have taken your theory on board Vernon but need proof that you actually voted on the day!!!! I reckon you managed to work out if you didn't vote it would dramatically increase your chance of winning.

Well what can I say. Doesn't Vernon just look like he was meant to have that trophy? He's so cool in that photo, the trophy looks like it's actually floating in front of the car. Maybe it is, I mean he wouldn't actually rest it on the bonnet, would he?

Seriuosly though, a very well deserved winner.

Oh, and Carole is really pleased for you too - she said she was glad it had gone, anyway. I'm sure she meant to add "to Vernon" on the end of the sentence, but just ran our of breath at that point

well, Phil, I can't imagine Carol was so short of breath, all she could manage was 'Im glad thats gone way'....I think it was more like 'im glad that *&^%ing thing has gone, I don't understand why we had to have it in bed with us anyway!'.

I don't know about deserved, but I did turn up, so I guess that was in my favour!

What is a *&^%ing ? a squirell or a trophy? I'm hoping it is a trophy!!!! this weekend is just going to be sooooooo much fun, especially as far as Phil is concerned there is a lot to be crammed into a small amount of time just because there is some creeping around the boss going on this weekend.
Now you mention it Phil that trophy does look suspect has this photo been tampered with?? Has Vernon actually won anything or is he parked up at a car boot sale and bought some old fishing trophy???
