Well, I'm waiting for the tax now. You can apply for it on line, but even though your car is taxed, it's still illegal to drive it without displaying a tax disk..so I'll have to wait, but as soon as it comes, I'll be off for a blast! Can't wait!

I keep WGW taxed all year round, but it does seem that most just seem to be taxed for six months of the year. As far as I'm concerned, it's there and on the button if I need it, and road tax is only £17 per month, so if you can afford to run a 3100 you can afford to tax and enjoy it! My car wears its squashed flies with pride and will always be driven in 70's style. I can't stand all that inside-lane moly-cuddling dawdling. Get yer hoof down, That's what they were made for.
Took it along to the OSF Box Hill meet the other week. Quite a few Capri's present and about 100 cars there in total on what was a nice warm morning. WGW ran well, but I still hate those random brakes until it warms through. I reckon my '69 Mk1 Raleigh Chopper's got better anchors... not that I dare sit on it thesedays.
Sadly won't be at the Combe this year though. Working in Malta. There's a tasty yellow GXL over there, but no RS's... yet. I'd love to take mine across someday.
