You lot are not really that observant its taken this long to work this out, I realise that I am going to struggle to outdo "the man" in his leather gear after all you two Rolf Harris impressionists failed miserably

Hi, back to the car mine has a similar reg although one number down, wouldn't it be great if that was mine to the left :-) I take it there's no way of finding out?

The car at the left of the Mark Phillips one could be RPU651M possibly as this shows up as white on the DVLA website?

If it is white and an RPU Reg No it could also be RPU 658M, 659M or 660M, maybe we could ask Vernon to give Capt Mark Phillips a call just to see if he remembers such a prestigious event in his life? I mean how could you forget driving an RS3100 and Vernon is the guy with the contacts (or is that just lenses)

Receiving a call from Vernon would certainly be another memorable event in his life, even if he can't remember the first one. In case you were wondering what happened to us on Sunday morning Len, I seem to have reached that age where technology and me don't mix, or at least not as far as programming an alarm call on my phone is concerned. Hope you all had a good breakfast. It was all over by the time we woke up

Len, I have the contacts, so I droped round to his gaf, brought the milk in and his daily copy of the sun and asked him over a cup of darjeeling. The breaking news is that is was definatly RPU something or other but 'one doesn't remember the complete registration of the other escort'. Phil, I know that you are pretty good when it comes to computers, but I have to break it to you. Those 1970's trim phones don't actually have an alarm! ;D

Well done Vernon, I knew one would reply if one received a call from you good self, a Phil well mate fair play to you, I think its best if you dont run carol down on this or any other forum again and then you have the cheek to blame an alarm its quite obvious to me that you are indeed infatuated with the lass and why would you not be, But hell mate to miss a free breakfast there is only one word to describe those symptons LOVE

Luuuurve??? Vernon, your Barry White impression hasn't got any better since its previous outing at the Christmas bash a couple of years ago.
Now I have to impart some very sad news. Carole has broken her wrist, and is in a plaster cast :-(
She tells me that she fell over in the snow, but I'm sure you will have plent of suggestions for what really happened (no, I haven't got a black eye) ;-)
The lengths some people will go to for a Christmas holiday...

Phil, I'm very sorry to hear Carol has a broken wrist. I must admit that your report of slipping on ice does lack creativity and is pretty d**n obvious. This sounds more like an injury sustained while polishing your trophy (I'm guessing your AVO one, as given your car was the dirtiest there, the trophy was probably like wise) Obviously for work purposes this could never be admitted, so we'll all back you up when asked. I'm sure others will have a view on this, but giving your pride and joy a bit of a buff is high on the likely reasons in my view. ;D
