Found this trawling through the net, apparantly Captain Mark Phillips managed a second faster on a very wet lap at Silverstone than his instructer ex Formula 1 World Champion Denny Hulme.

As spotted by Michael Webster there appears to be another RS3100 just to the left of the pic according to the black bumper.

Vernon, you are spot on about it being one of the faster colours! I found this enhanced picture.

Like the enhanced picture! That must have been a really early RS3100 without a spoiler, but my mistake. I thought for a second is was one of the faser versions. You've clearly pointed out it's actually one of the more common or garden (aka Orange) slower versions with the 130mph speedo's Vs the 140mph speedos!

That's odd then. Mine has a 150mph speedo, and an after-burner button...
And it's the correct colour of course.
The car I mean. Not the button.

This after burner is in fact the cigarette lighter, adjacent to the sun dial ;D

Well let me tell you, the sun dial's been pretty redundant around these parts lately!

That small hiccup (cloud) would not bother the experienced RS3100 owner/driver, It would only hinder the wanabees and vauxhall owners amongst us.

You were right Len. Very interesting.
I didn't know you had inherited your jersey from Denny Hulme! ;-)

I think you've hit the nail on the head there Phil. Len has actually been dresing up a his favorite race heros and no one has noticed! I'm really sorry Len, we all should have noticed what you were trying to do! ;D I think Gareth rather stole the lime light with his leather clad 70's pimp outfit last year. Still, I'm sure your 'The Stig' outfit I hear you are working on will be noticed! Can't wait!
