Hi all, I have just received news of a Modena Green car for sale in Australia, the current owner has had the car for 25 years and it has covered a genuine 52,000 miles it has never been restored inc the interior ( which can suffer over there), it still retains all of the original paint and decals except for the bonnet which has been sprayed and is minus the decal.
It has a L.S.D. fitted from new ( by Ford Australia) comes with its original log book and service manual, a full photo file can be supplied, it is considered ny the owner to be one of the best unrestored RS3100's left in the world. Price Aus Dollars 75,000

Sounds like an amazing car though Len - Any pictures?
You know I have been looking for the right green car for a very long time
but that's out of my league mate...

Most I have seen sell down here go for similar money to the ones I have seen sold in the UK (around $30 to $40,000 Aussie dollars).
There was one I know of sold down here a few years back, during the peak of our "muscle car" boom that sold for about $75,000. At that time anything with a V8 or even the vaguest connection with car racing at Mount Panorama (Bathurst) was attracting silly money.
I would be surprised in the current climate if it achieves that sort of money.

Hi Len, rego is OLW254 BBECND 20471 and BTW GH411 which is in your pics as Olympic blue is now Wild Plum 32411H.

Yes that would be me. I haven't been lost, just my enthusiasm has waned over the 23 odd years that I had my car.
I do sneek a peek on this and the Classic Ford forums from time to time.
I did try to have my full name but gave up when the forum would not allow it....
