Good run to the motorway, not often you have 4 RS3100's in convoy and I bet Vernon never got a shot of any of it.

Yep, Phil did well, winning a competition he didn't enter and he didn't even bother to clean his RS!

Here are some pictures from the day:






Phil 'Strikes a Pose'. He was once again the key public affairs officer. You can see how we rallied around him to support this public affairs activities.....well, sort of.



And here you can see Phil uses his superhuman abilities to defy the laws of gravity and use his 'elle ello ello what 'av we got here then' pose to view the pictures on the camera as if his shoes were stuck to terra firma. Apparently you learn to do this in basic training!



Well, I didn't capture any video of the 4 cars together. Would have been quite tricky, BUT I did follow Phil to the show and I did have some concerns on the video.

I have video evidence of a misdemeanor, but that will have to wait for Combe I think, as I clearly could gain some drinks out of this one! I also thought I was going to loose Phil when I saw a sign for 'green car wash' but luckily he missed that one so we were happily on our way!

It was a great show, so roll on Combe!

I reckon it was the valet job the photogrpoher did on the bonnet and the top class finish that dried on horse poo gives.

Yes you better had, Ange is not just an authority on panel gaps ( Julian) she is going to be on everyones case regarding presentation this year
A couple of awards up for grabs this year as always the imensly expensive crystal trophy and something which I believe any TRUE RS enthusiast could only dream of holding which will be judged by myself and will be kept for one year only!!!!! Now then Phil if thats not an incentive to clean that car what is?
P.S. Phil I have taken the liberty to call Mr Boote and told him that his old car turned up at a show covered in Bull**it!! Already received 4 replies from him so look out m8.

Don't worry Len, it was all a cunning plot to not win anything and not attract too much attention, but I forgot the Vernon factor!

The car will be absolutely spanking clean at Combe - if not when I arrive then very shortly after, as all the guys have offered to take a panel each and clean them up for me. Mind you, they didn't say anything about bringing them back afterwards...

Phil, If I remember correctly that was for AVO National Day 2011 to make sure you win Master Class just to show the Escort boys what a proper car looks like.

Mind you, you won that when you did bog all to clean your car!

This is turning into 'dirt gate'. If phil is not going to be called 'the dirty man' of the RS3100 ownership, I think he needs to pull all the stops out and actually use his bucket at Combe! Suggestions for what for can be posted here! ;D

Well Phil did let slip a few things about Carole at the weekend or was that Phils wishful thinking?

Either way, perhaps it was a case of too much sun?
