Hi Guys, how about a convoy of RS3100's? I was thinking me coming round from kent, passing Wayne and mike, past Julian, pick up our police escort in treacle bumpstead and maybe Gareth closer to the venue? Len may even get caught up on the way? any other takers? May need some organising tough.....  |

I believe that 3 of us at least are heading up to National Day probably no where near the route you guys will be taking though fosse way most of the way but if there were a way of meeting then it would be good, only downside is I can see the queues being awful, I think there are two other smaller shows at the venue the same day.

If you come up the Fosse Way, you can swing by my place just off the A428 and then if you follow that towards the M1 Northampton, you pick up the A5 where the others will be coming from.
An early meeting point, possibly after a brew at the truck stop should mean the ques are avoided.

Hi m8, how is this going to avoid the queues that occur with every event at Stanford Hall, unless of course we have our own meet at yours? Sue get the butties ready!!! Seriously going back into the early 90's there was always a lot of traffic around the lanes into the show at both AVO and Leicester group regional day whats it going to be like at National Day especially holding 2 other events at the same venue albeit small ones, I like the idea of the venue just hope its not a disaster with regard to the traffic |

Arrive extra early M8.
My understanding is that the RSOC will use the main entrance, the other events are at the back of the house and would be using a different entrance.
I don't mind you all meeting round my place, Sue does a mean cup of tea.

Wayne, yep, up for the drive to Combe. We'll sort out a time nearer the date.
I must admit, I too have been caught in traffic at Stanford hall. One year there was even a car in front of me at the gate! Mind you, my first experience was a capri show but this was a long time ago (anyone remember an RS3100 look a like with a ford V8 in kerm..err I mean Modena green?. Given the lies I tell about my age, I must have been about 3. There were no problems then. All the other times it was the AVO show. Not excactly the biggest show, I grant you, but as the local lad says, best get there early. Did Gareth mention bacon butties? You know we could really improve Gareths standing in the community if we all turned up!
