Just had a look at the 2009 NEC Classic Motor Show web site and under Show News it mentions that the RS Owners club will have an RS3100 on show. What I was wondering was who's the lucky person? Plus I hope they enjoy the event as much as I did when I was allowed to display my car on the ame stand in 2004. It will be good to be able to see two RS3100's at the NEC this year, possibly three on show. I know there is still a club looking to have an RS3100 on show. Any of you guys going along just to have a wander round? |

Good to see your car in the mag  . All i can say is i met Vernon at the NEC couple of years ago  but just keep an eye on him if you see him at the show he's always looking for parts ;D.Shows pretty good at least you don't have to worry about the weather. |

Hey! Most of the stuff on here is mostly unfounded! When I did meet Julian, I was able to make off with one of Gareths' wheels. When security stopped me, I told them (me being the honest and upstanding citizen I am ;D) where it came from and they said would I like a hand with the other 3! I declined their offer as I said we had to give the poor chap some hope of getting home. I may well be taking a wander up there, assuming it's on the Friday as well as the Saturday and Sunday. It will be great to see three RS3100's there. An RS2600 (ahem!  ) would be nice as well. |

So Wayne is on the RSOC stand? Anyone on the AVO stand? It's a big event where if you are into your classics does take time to see the whole event and yes Vernon, sho is on Friday as usual. The Capris RS or otherwise always get a lot of attention and people comoing up to you either reminising about the car ther dad or other familly ember had when theyw ere a kid or what it was like the model they owned. Most Capri owners seem to be a very sociable bunch. Just keep your bonnet down when Vernon is about or you might find yourself having to call security |

Hi guys sorry if anyone feels I have betrayed them but as usual Vernon has not been able to keep a secret both of my cars are on the AVO stand ;D ;D ;D
