Hi Phil, I can confirm that Vernon does not cheat the score 1 out of 5 was mainly as I never received the payment it will be ammended as cheque is now here

For what use reference material is, (too many hours of Googling for any normal person) has proved fruitless for the answers so i'm having a guess.
Somehow I' think I'll be back to my normal score of nil points, proving that the previous 4/5 was a fluke.

As I said, I wouldn't suggest anyone was cheating or taking advantage of the corruptible quiz master but a quick fire round would sort the men from the boy's.
Just out of interest Len, how much is a set of answers and do you take green shield stamps?

Green shield stamps? Did you find some under the seats in your car? Good idea though. Maybe Len will accept gen yew wine cut glass tumblers...the sort that you could get with green shield stamps back in the day. Milk bottle tops may work as well!
Looking at the above answers, I may be inspired to take another bash at this! ...but first some preparation.

It,s becoming a bit obsessive now. 4 binders of CCI mags from the 90's and fruitless tinternet searching for a picture of RPU let alone with a celebrity and racing driver alongside have revealed a sort of answer for Q3.
The stripes on the hockey stick appear to owe their origins to the Sports custom pack available as an option on the GT. courtesy Jeremy waltons book, while the roundel and bonnet. stripes appear to come from the RS2600 however finding a specific name eludes me!
Although I suspect this is what you gave Vernon sort of 1/5 for.
Need to dig a few more books out! Or maybe Time for you to write a book Len as my books don't appear to have the correct answers.
