Hi Everyone
I was not quick enough to pull the trigger on taking advantage of the group buy for a SS exhaust for my RS2600 so am now in the market for one.
Does anyone have experience of Quicksilver??
There used to be a company in Sheffield called Ascar who I bought a full 3000GXL system from in the 1980's (Phil if I remember??) does anyone know if they still make SS exhausts? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have a complete Quicksilver system including the manifolds on my facelift RS2600. The system is very good but couldn't get the alignment of the right rear exhaust 100%, I think the hanger should have been rotated some degrees. Regards Magnar  |

It sounds like the same company that made 2 rs3100 systems for me , old boy called Phil , now called exhaust systems uk , wonderful man , they do all modern stuff now but still had the jig to make them for us , but just remember if for rs3100 to tell them not to fit the welded hangers to the system like they did on my first one , my mistake !!! Very fairly priced also !!!! |

Magnar - I will speak to them about this and if you are OK with it, will forward the above photograph on the off chance they will be able to improve their alignment.
John - I've known Phil and his son Pete who now runs the company under the name Exhausts UK for 30+ years but didn't think they were interested in the older cars any more. They have done upwards of 10 custom exhausts for me for the various Japanese and Italian Rally Reps I've owned over the years and quite a view DPF delete pipes for my diesel vans/cars - Great people to do business with.
Unfortunately I don't think they have the jigs for the 2600 and would need a full system from which to make one from. They DO of course have the 3000GXL /RS3100 jig and are happy to support the forum should anyone want one.
