Hi Guys, this is the start of the organising of hopefully another great event at Castle Combe, this year it is being held on Sat 7th July I have already heard from a couple of guys that are hoping to bring their newly finished restorations along. Could anyone interested in joining us at this event please let me know as soon as possible also those requiring accomodation as with other years the Bell House Hotel has been pre booked and will be on a first come first served basis, there are however several B+B's that are very close to hand that we can also use. Either let us know via this site, e-mail at rscapriman@apeirce.fsnet.co.uk or Tel 01249 720570 Many thanks Len

When I have been down the night before in the past there has always been an informal gathering / drinking session to get in the mood for Saturdays events!
I am sure others that might be staying the night before won't take much encouragement to have a bit of fun!!!!!

Right, the bad news. I'm afraid the AVO RS3100 of the year ;D (last year) won't be comming and grace this show with it's presence. This will mostly be due to it being in pieces scatered around my garage. To add to the bad news, I may still be comming, however. The good news is that the almost very worthy runner up RS3100 from the aforementioned AVO show will be comming ! Len, I'd like to take my very original, almost as it left the factory, Mk2 capri down for the show and shine section. Do you think they will let me in? I'll need to check on the Coombe site to see what I'd need to do to enter this part of the show . Assuming I can take the aforementioned car, I'll be after accomodation on the Saturday night ;D

well done guys, Owen you may be interested in booking into the Hotel on the Friday night there will almost certainly be room (doubtful on the sat) as there will be a few beverages sampled and complimentary bull**it. Vernon sad to hear that TBL will not be making it ( always a place in the hotel for the entertainment), with regard to you entering your Mk2 into show and shine cant see a problem I would advise you contact the organisers to check and to see where you need to park up. On the positive side maybe I will get to go on the parade lap this year

Cold beer? you may be lucky, I think they drink fermented apples down that way. As for non Red RS3100's, is there such a thing?
Wayne, the other PFV will hopefully be there. Will be good to get them both together.

Ok Vernon cool fizzy drinks on stand by, Phil those boys will never cope with the "apple juice" Vernon had a sip years ago look whats happened to him !!! impaired vision ( he bought what he thought was a Sebring Red RS3100), he lost all sense of style ( check out the photos from Combe) and he moved to Kent. Say no more

Dont worry about your apple juice, my old man has been brewing his own Scrumpy here down under, from a secret brew an old patchway resident.
