Given the intimate knowledge available on here. I was wondering, have all RS3100's ever produced all been accounted for. ie scrapped, converted to racer, exported, Sorn or on the road or are there any proverbial "barn finds" still existing out there somewhere.

I think Uncle Len would know, but my guess is that there are still cars out there waiting to be discovered. I'm not sure all cars are accounted for though.
I have heard a rumour that there is a guy called Phil who may well discover a green one in his garage. Apparantly it's been undiscovered for some time now!

No there are still 20 odd cars not on the Register, and many more that are bare details ie Chassis Numbers with Reg No,s and colours so yes there could be many out there locked away albeit I am quite sure the owners would know what they were. RScapriman

An interesting question, that.
You'd have to surmise that nearly all of those which haven't been physically accounted for have bitten the dust. Does just having the V5 and VIN plate really count?! Not in my book.
Out of interest Len, when was the last time a car re-emerged that you had absolutely no idea still existed? Bet it was some while ago now.

I would guess about a year ago when a log book and fags were sold on E-Bay for a Sebring car interestingly the very first RS3100 I went to look at with a veiw to buying back in probably 1990. Having found out who bought the ID (by chance) it came to light that he actually owned a Modena Green car that I had on the Register but as mentioned in a previous post literally colour, Reg and Chassis Numbers it is a complete car and needing restoration but still survives. The last time that I found a car new to the Register in The UK and still existing was many years ago possibly 6 or7.
