Hi all, a Diamond White RS3100 SYR 863N which has been off the road for many years has come up for sale, I have no idea as to exactly where who owns it or how much but I believe the current owner/s have recently bought it from a farmer for a few hundred pounds not having a clue that it was anything other than a Mk1 Capri!!!! when they applied for the logbook they found out exactly what it was. Bleedin 'ell, that was a good find! I don't think I'm alone thinking it would be great to find something like that, the classic barn find! While in America recently, bought a couple of books, 'Cobra in the barn' and the follow up, 'Hemi in the barn' all about stories of finding hidden/lost cars. I bet there are a few RS2600's like that on the continent. Any idea what the new owners will do with it? They do know they have the fastest colour I take it?

The car is currently for sale I believe, and I did point out to them that its probably the least valuable colour as most 1300L's were white ( similar performance) from what Phil has told of yours vernon or maybe he was talking of you!!!!!

A lucky find for someone, good to know another one sees the light of day. Vernon, I recently bought those books you mention, still to read them though! However, a visit to www.carsinbarns.com gives a similar insight into found & rescued interesting American cars. Amazing the cars that people will leave to rot in their yard!
