Hi len, been doing a bit of proof reading of a new capri book, just sorting out some details on the RS2600. It's pretty much an overview, but there is one point I'd like to check, as I hate details being wrong. Did the RS2600 have additional holes in the cross member for the negative camber? I know that the RS3100 members only have one set of holes and thought the RS2600 was the same, but the notes for this book say that another set of holes were drilled along side the originals. Is this correct?

Hi mate, no they only had the single hole drilled for negative camber, there may possibly have been a few early cars ( pre production) that may have 2 sets but i doubt it. Len. P.S. could you please e-mail your new Tel No and address as I lost them when we had probs with the computor

Ford's RS spares programme offered a de-cambered crossmember, and this may be what your author-friend or his source of incormation was getting at, Vernon.

Errr.... I meant "information", lol. Norm Ford's RS spares programme offered a de-cambered crossmember, and this may be what your author-friend or his source of incormation was getting at, Vernon.

I was sorry to read that we have a cross member with an RS2600. Any ideas on what can we do to cheer him up?
